Big brother Ekambir & l'il sis Harnoor meet for the first time... these two are going to be naughty partners in crime for many many years to come. It is such a blessing that they both are just two months apart and will grow up together :-) Their first meet & greet was interesting... they both slept peacefully, possibly the only time they are going to be so peacefully quiet. Reminds me of my childhood and my cousin brothers, who were very protective of me and we got into so much trouble together being kids... precious & priceless memories. I look forward to Ekam & Noorie making their own memories and growing up around each other. It is such a joy to have cousins your own age.
Ginny-Tony and us have lived so close to each other since we've been married and soon they are going to be relocating to India for a short time. I so wish they would have still been here, especially now that the little ones are here, it would have been wonderful for the cousins to grow up around each other, but I know we'll make even more of an effort to make sure they both visit each other often and get to spend as much time with each other as possible.
Keep watching this space for future (naughty) adventures & tales of these two!!
And we complete a month today! It's been a month full of fun & lots of milestones. We have been feeding beautifully, sleeping, pooping, crying and most importantly for Mom & Dad, smiling & giggling at them and showing them new things Noorie darling can come up with, daily! Mom & Dad are easily amused and are always excited about everything Noorie does :D
Sticking our tongue out is the first thing I learnt from Papa, moments after I was born ;-)
Naani makes me happy :-)
My famous thoughtful pose, trying to come up with a solution for world recession.
Happy One Month Birthday Harnoor!!
We are so lucky and grateful to have you in our lives.
Nani & Nanu are in love with their Noorie Jaan and she has them wrapped around her little finger.
Nani is always there too soothe her, help put her to sleep, bathe, change, calm her... or anything else she needs and of course for the most important duties of cuddling with her and smacking loads of kisses on those cheekies... Where as Nanu dear loves sitting with her and cuddling her while she sleeps and watching and instructing us all if we are not holding her correctly or troubling her (in Nanu's critical eyes).
She is one lucky girl to have such loving and caring grandparents and she is going to be spoilt rotten by them for life!
Having Mom & Dad around during these early weeks has been such a blessing, as they've completely taken over all household duties and helped out in every way possible. Looking back I can't imagine how we would have managed without their help?! And I am getting nervous about them leaving in a weeks time, how are we going to manage... how am I going to manage everything at home, solo during the day! I know they don't want to leave either and if they could stay, they would. Although Nani's perfect solution to this is to zip up Harnoor in her jacket and smuggle her back home. It's at times like this I wish we lived near each other. It's so important to have family around and having ones grandparents around while growing up is one of the best experience in the world. I grew up around my grandparents and having them around is something I have always cherished and it has made me who I am today.
Thank you to the best parents and grandparents in the world for being with us :) We will miss you both so much and can't wait for our visit near you both, so we get to spend more time with you and for Noorie Jaan to spend time with her Nani & Nanu!!
And she is here... we've been blessed with the most perfect & gorgeous daughter :-) Sunny and I are so lucky and thankful to be blessed with our Princess.
We are proud parents of one adorable 'Harnoor Sibia' born on 2/2/2012 at 12.45am.
We've been overjoyed & feel extremely lucky to have her as ours. Secretly we both had longed, wished and hoped for a girl, and we are so great full to have been blessed with her.
All three of us are doing great & getting to know each other. Just as any first time new parents we are overjoyed and a bit sleep deprived, so we will keep you more regularly posted with the l'il ones activities in the near future...
Ours hearts are simply full of love for her, unconditional love which floods ones heart the mintue you see them for the first time, that is what we had heard from other parents over & over again, but one needs to experience it in person to truly understand and enjoy that love you have for your own child :-)
